Hiring Jayne was the best decision we made for our wedding. From our initial meeting with Jayne, she makes you feel so at ease and so comfortable. She is very thorough, going through every detail for your day and answering every little question we had. She truly makes sure your day is exactly what you want and makes it a priority for your day to be YOUR day. She helps make your vision/dream come to life. She listened to exactly what we wanted and helped us pick a breathtaking spot for our ceremony. We knew very little about the area and she helped recommend amazing locations that actually made it difficult for us to choose because they were all so gorgeous.
On your actual day, this woman is hyping you up and making you feel so good about yourself all while capturing the little moments. If you feel stressed over anything, she calms you down and reminds you that this is your day and everything is fine. She makes you feel so at ease even if you’re not comfortable being in front of a camera.
I haven’t even gotten to the actual photos. She is so talented at getting THE SHOTS. The quality of the pictures taken absolutely blew our mind. This is a day we want to remember forever and thanks to the awesome pictures, we can do just that.

My now wife and I planned an Alaskan helicopter elopement about a year in advance. We spoke with a half dozen elopement photographers and thought long and hard about who we wanted to document our special day.
Jayne was the easy choice. She was super friendly, experienced, well-priced, and just seemed like a genuinely great person! (If you don’t want to read the rest of this review, just know that Jayne is an 11/10 and you should book with her right now).
The planning process was fun, and Jayne made it easy for us. Her research gave us so many great options for locations and companies to work with, and she hit it out of the park! Our day ended up exactly as we dreamed it would be.
The preparation stage of the elopement day was great. She made us feel super comfortable and went above and beyond to get a variety of great detail and getting-ready shots.
In the helicopter, on the glaciers, high in the mountains, she was a creative genius. SO many angles and backdrops, we ended up with what we feel are possibly the greatest wedding photos ever recorded. I don’t think we’ve had a conversation with any of our friends in which our wedding photos didn’t come up since this elopement.
After our adventure, Jayne came over and photographed our intimate dinner and cake cutting. We ended up hanging out for hours and had a glass of wine, because she is awesome.
We were thrilled with our experience with Jayne and highly recommend you book her as your photographer. She spent more than 12 hours with us on our day, and as mentioned the results were simply perfection.

My husband and I were struggling to get started on planning our day after getting engaged, moving across the country and then the pandemic hitting. I wanted a destination wedding and he wanted to go to the courthouse. Eventually, I agreed to eloping. But, if we were eloping, we were ELOPING. No court house – we were making memories!
After searching the web for hours for elopement photographers and Iceland elopement photographers, I found Jayne’s website. I reached out to her along with a few other photographers. From the start I was drawn to her photos after stalking her Instagram. I loved that we got to video chat to meet with her to see if she would be a good fit for us. I think we went a little long on our chat, but before we got off the call, I knew she was who we wanted to document our day. Thankfully my husband agreed!
Once we officially hired her, Jayne gave us some amazing options for our day with a video ‘look book’ with so many details and great information. Jayne was more than okay when we said, hmmm maybe we want to do something a little crazier and didn’t choose any of her initial options! Jayne helped us plan a day that was absolutely perfect for us and that we were over the moon excited about!
When we finally got to Iceland, it ended up POURING the two days before making it impossible to get to our location the day before for her to scout. Jayne left it up to us to still try it the next day or choose somewhere new. When it came down to it, she was NOT afraid to get a little dirty and explore inland Iceland with us and travel across river crossings in our cars! It was a blast!
During our ceremony and all of our wedding adventures, Jayne made us feel beyond comfortable and more like friends than someone following us around with a camera. (Which says a lot when my husband does not love his photo taken).
My husband and I have frequently said our day would not have been the same and could not have been better with any other photographer. We don’t know anyone else who would have traveled all the way to Iceland, planned to travel so far inland, crossed the rivers, and not backed down when the rain almost ruined the day!
As for the photos, they speak for themselves! I may have even teared up when I saw our sneak peak.. and I am not a crier! (Also, our wedding photos are way cooler than anyone we know).
All in all, we could not have been happier with the process, our day, or our photos.

When my husband and I decided to turn a pre-planned vacation into an elopement we were definitely nervous about finding a photographer with just shy of 60 days notice! Jayne was one of the first people we reached out to and we couldn't be more thankful she was available and willing to work with us on such short notice!
She is so much more than a photographer, she helped us plan our whole day, made sure we were prepared for all conditions and more importantly just a great FRIEND to share our day with!
Jayne was always quick to respond and made the booking and planning process a breeze.
She made sure we were enjoying our day and gave us some private time at each location to fully enjoy our surroundings. Jaynes' charisma and excitement throughout the day just helped make our day that much more enjoyable!
When it came time for our last location it started pouring rain... but we still wanted the last shot of a champagne pop on the cliffside. So she grabbed us some umbrellas, got herself geared up and we trekked out to the cliff in the torrential rain and took what probably are some of my favorite pictures of the day.
She sent us sneak peaks quickly and the full album so fast. She captured our day perfectly and got so many amazing shots.
Jayne is truly the best without a doubt. We are so thankful our paths crossed and we hope to meet up again down the road! We couldn't imagine sharing our day with anyone else!

If I had to describe Jayne in 3 words, it'd be: charismatic, incredible, and talented. WHAT A PLEASURE it was to work with her. Cannot recommend her enough.
Jayne had an introduction call with us and worked through our continuously changing ideas and locations. We settled on what we thought was our elopement location. Only to realize it didn't quite work. Jayne was considerate, flexible, and communicative with us.
Jayne planned out the perfect hike in a new location, sent over all of the documentation for my Type A self to feel secure and excited, and walked us through everything.
Jayne met us at 3am at our hiking spot, prepared and ready to go. She even brought some of the things she instructed us to bring, like a bluetooth speaker. (thank you, you're an angel!)
We both felt super comfortable being shot by Jayne, and her charisma made it all the more fun and enjoyable. She's the right amount of lively and laid back.
We got our sneak peek back very quickly and it was FULL of incredible photos I will cherish forever. Honestly, I've worked with friends of mine who are well known photographers, and Jayne's talent surpassed those photos. I was astonished at how well they turned out.
Jayne continued to overdeliver, sharing the full set of photos, beautifully edited, with us far before the "contracted deadline."
There were moments she captured that I never saw in real life, like my father in law wearing a fun garment and being silly, that I was so grateful were memorialized in beautiful photography. All of the details were snapped in photographs that I love.

When we decided to elope, my husband and I really had no idea what we were doing or what we were trying to plan, we just knew how we wanted our day to feel. My husband and I eloped in May 2021 in the Pacific Northwest and Jayne made this whole experience extraordinary. Jayne was such a pleasure to work with and helped provide endless STELLAR recommendations for everything from the Airbnb we stayed at to flowers and videography to the most stunning locations. She literally planned our entire experience and it could NOT have gone any better. We are still in awe of this entire experience. If you're looking for an adventure photographer who will have a view from your photos that goes beyond the standard, Jayne is a wonderful choice! We first met her through some local friends and were constantly amazed at the pictures we would see on Facebook or Instagram. When we saw some of the couples' collections we realized we had a special possibility in our hands. We were looking for a photographer for our wedding about the time she was launching the more formal side of her business.
We were able to snag her for a day of shooting at the Oregon coast for our engagement photos. Whether it was venturing out onto Natural Bridge, scaling down a cliffside with rope and ideas, or generally wandering through the area, she had a great eye for those special shots that caught our natural adventurous and playful interactions. We never felt we had to be posed though she was also able to offer guidelines when needed. We especially love her aspect of creating double exposures where she superimposes the two of you over a background from the same area.
The wedding photos were amazing as well, particularly considering she was shooting into a setting sun. From catching our family, to our friends, to my wonderful wife with the sun streaming through her dress, these pictures will be ones we cherish for the rest of our lives.
To add to the cherry on top she accompanied us after our honeymoon up into the mountains to get some more special shots in suit and gown. Throughout the trip she went the extra step to ensure we had even more memories to cherish and our shot of sharing a glass of champagne in our wedding attire while overlooking Castle Lake and Mt. Shasta has a perfect spot on our wall.

Wow! Just...wow!! My husband and I spent a recent afternoon on top of a mountain with Jayne, our amazing and talented wedding photographer, to try to capture some beautiful post-wedding shots of us in our wedding attire after we returned from our honeymoon. Our goal was to truly celebrate our union in a place that makes us the most happy - the mountains! We anticipated some great shots for a couple of reasons, including the fact that Jayne took INCREDIBLE wedding day shots the month prior (seriously, folks...gorgeous), as well as the fact that the beautiful and moody Mt. Shasta was our backdrop (holy cow, so majestic). What we received a couple weeks later was a broad collection of frame-worthy shots that had both my husband and I repeatedly saying "Whoa! These are stunning!" Jayne and our mountain-top wedding photos have exceeded our expectations in every possible way. As someone who feels more comfortable behind the camera than in front of one I always feel nervous about getting my photos taken, but with Jayne it was just so easy and natural. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to, which really helps to create a relaxed and fun photo shoot. Her work really speaks for itself! She's creative, has a keen eye for the "best" shot, will go to any lengths to get that "best" shot (she got on her husband's shoulders to capture one of them!), and does it all with a refreshing smile and easy conversation.
